Description

Nestled high on a hill with stunning views of the terraced vineyards and the Douro River lies the newly renovated Six Senses Douro Valley. Immerse yourself in therapeutic spa treatments to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul, and indulge in wine tastings at the Wine Library where you can explore over 750 vintages from the region, paired with tapas and cheeses. The hotel's philosophy of creating experiences while considering the environment is evident in its natural décor using wood and stone. Contemporary air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs, private bathrooms, and free toiletries offer the perfect retreat after a long day of activities. Enjoy gourmet cuisine at the Vale Abraão restaurant, which combines three atmospheres - an open kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and fine dining to savour a culinary experience. Spend your days discovering the 8-hectare property - from relaxing and meditation open-air areas in the woods to the organic garden. Participate in wellness and yoga programs available or treat yourself to the grape and wine-based therapies at the Six Senses Spa, home to 10 treatment rooms. At the indoor pool, soak in the water jets, aromatic saunas, arctic showers, and soft waterbeds to feel refreshed and re-energized. Guests can also expect personalized experiences, which includes Guest Experience Makers to cater to individual requirements. The Six Senses Douro Valley is located 78.9 miles from Porto International Airport, offering a peaceful haven to host your next team retreat. Wake up to a varied buffet breakfast served each morning, and enjoy moments surrounded by nature and luxury.Read more
