Description

The German-Italian Journalist Laura & the Bedouin Suleiman are the owners of the Bedouin Yoga Camp in Wadi Rum, Jordan, which opened in November 2021. What makes us special? - We are the first retreat centre in Jordan! Besides yoga & meditation we also offer retreats, hiking & camping tours. - we are a traditional Bedouin camp and yet stylish! Our Bedouin tents are made of goat wool - in Jordan the tents therefore look black and beige - the goat wool protects from cold nights in winter and hot days alike. - We work with the Bedouin community - our chef is also a Bedouin from Jordan, as are our group leaders. - we are a sustainable Eco Camp: We use almost exclusively solar energy, avoid plastic and are planning new washrooms that will allow us to pipe domestic water into the adjacent valley to create a little oasis in the middle of the desert! We offer 15 tents with beds, mattresses, pillows, blankets and bedding plus towels in Glamping style. Washrooms & showers 1 lounge tent & restaurant with fireplace Outdoor area with fireplace and numerous places in nature in our camp to chill and relax We are situated in a nature reserve Camping de luxe and often camels drop by, because we have integrated nature. Our Bedouin guides will stay in the desert with you, collect firewood, teach you, how to make a fire in the desert, how to cook, sing and Dance. Yoga & Meditation as well as Workshops for Teambuilding & Coaching You can bring a bigger group & rent the whole camp with Housekeeping & Chef Read more
